Understanding of God
I come from a family of believers, but, personally, I perceive God as the purest form of energy.
When you do something good for somebody, with clean intentions, that is exhibiting an element of God. But I'm not one to tag 'God' under any particular religion.
Call this big force omnipotent if you will, but I think there is God everywhere around us.
Spiritual beliefs
When people come together to pray in a place of worship, the energy in that place is very powerful.
However, I think I've evolved to a point of just staying silent or meditating as a means to connecting to God.
My spiritual journey is one that is internal.
Spiritual practices
I do pray occasionally by chanting or participating in a ritual, but just observing a few minutes of silent prayer works best for me. Usually, I get up early in the morning and meditate alone or I come after a long day's work, stay quiet for a while, and I'm at peace.
Pilgrimage sites
My husband has gone to Mount Kailash in the past, and for a long time it has been one of my desires to accompany him the next time he visits. I also want to go to Mansarovar on the way.
