Hollywood actress-producer Hilary Swank will be here Sunday to be a part of amfAR’s inaugural fundraising event to be attended by celebrated names from India and abroad.

Swank, the "Million Dollar Baby" star, who has won the best actress Academy Award twice, will join amfAR’s Global Fundraising chair Sharon Stone and the India select co-chairs, amfAR supporters and Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, for the event.

The gala, by Foundation for AIDS Research, amfAR, will be held at the Taj Mahal Palace, where renowned recording artist Kesha will perform and American designer and amfAR chairman Kenneth Cole will be present.

Another highlight of the event will be an Indian edition of the Gold Fashion Show in collaboration with LoveGold, an initiative by the World Gold Council.

The Gold Fashion Show will present the work of Indian designers Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Tarun Tahiliani and Rohit Bal.

It will include a black tie dinner and auction similar to amfAR’s black tie galas that take place across the globe. A host of Indian celebrities and industrialists are expected to attend the event.
