Warner Bros., believed to be quite passionate over Akira's remake have reportedly engaged their best man--Christopher Nolan for the project.

Akira is a remake project based on Katsuhiro Otomo's classic comic book and an animation movie of the same name.

After a tumble of around two decades, the movie might release in July 2017 and Nolan's fans can again expect something big on the cards as Warner Bros., are planning for a trilogy, reported the Den of Geeks.

Nolan with three Batman movies in the bag makes his track record evident that he is someone who believes in recreating the magic rather than just remaking the movies.

Fans can be sure of something extraordinary from the man who has the best abilities to add his magic to the science fiction projects.
