LOS ANGELES: Stars Chris Pratt, Neil Patrick Harris and Melissa McCarthy stepped in to host "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in the absence of host Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel has gone on a week off to spend time with his family as his seven-month-old son recovers from a successful heart surgery performed on Monday. The actors are stepping in to fill the host's chair, reports ew.com.

ABC network announced on Monday that Pratt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Harris and McCarthy will play host over the next four nights.

Pratt turned host on Monday with guests Margot Robbie and Chris Stapleton while Ross welcomed Mary J. Blige and Amanda de Cadenet on Tuesday night.

Harris anchored Wednesday's show with guests Vanessa Kirby and Jules Sylvester while McCarthy will play host to Octavia Spencer and Dave Franco on Thursday.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is aired in India on Star World and Star World HD.
