Now that Sajid Khan is co-hosting a TV show called Yaaron Ki Baraat with Riteish Deshmukh, in which they interview pairs of friends like Amitabh Bachchan-Shatrughan Sinha and Parineeti Chopra-Sania Mirza, looks like the filmmaker is taking a closer look at the friendships in his own life too.

Ask Sajid about friends with whom he has had a fall out and he says candidly.
“In every friendship there are ups and downs. My best friend (producer-director) Sajid Nadiadwala has been close for 20 years now … he is from our group. But I had a fight with him for two years. I saw his film Housefull 3 but we were not talking to each other. There was not a single day when Riteish didn’t tell me to go back to Sajid. Even Akshay Kumar would to tell me the same thing. Ego comes in between friends but all that is required is for you to pick up the phone and call.”

While the cold vibes between the two Sajids seem to be a thing of the past, Khan says differences between Riteish and him are quickly sorted out.

He reveals, “Sometimes, there have been creative differences. But I like working with people who I love and care for because if there are any differences then they are finished within 2 minutes itself. You have to spend 100 days of your life working with someone on a film so why work with someone you are not fond of?”
