MUMBAI: He might have vowed to never attend or accept an award but the Perfectionist of Bollywood had to make an exception for the one and only Lata Mangeshkar.
Aamir Khan, who was invited by the Nightingale of India, recently attended Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards, held to commemorate her father’s 75th death anniversary and it was also when the legendary singer started singing in films.
The actor was reportedly honoured with Vishesh Puraskar for his outstanding work in ‘Dangal’ at the prestigious ceremony.
