Parvathy, who has acted in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films, has landed an important role opposite Irrfan Khan. Directed by Tanuja Chandra of Dil To Pagal Hai fame, we hear, it’s a romantic comedy about an unlikely couple falling for each other during a road trip.
While the shooting of this yet-to-be-titled film is on right now, the actress is expected to join the sets soon. According to sources, Tanuja is known for making woman-centric films, and this film would provide a solid platform for Parvathy to showcase her acting skills.
Reports suggest that this film will be shot extensively in Bikaner, Rishikesh and Gangtok. Currently, Parvathy is occupied with Take Off, which deals with the plight of nurses employed in the Middle East.
