Arjun Reddy-fame Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming supernatural thriller directed by Rahul Sankrityayan has been titled Taxiwala. “After considering a few titles, the team has now fixed this title. The film revolves around a driver (played by Vijay), a cab and an experiment that goes awry,” says a source.

The film is on the last leg of its shoot and the post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace. “Except for some patchwork, all the talkie portions have been completed. The dubbing and CG works have already begun, and Vijay has recently dubbed for some portions too. The team is determined to wrap up all the work by December and plans to release the film in February,” the source adds.

Currently, Vijay is in Annavaram shooting for another project of his, that is being directed by Parasuram. “Once he returns to the city, he will resume his work for Taxiwala,” informs the source.
The female lead of Taxiwala is Telugu actor Priyanka Jawalkar, who plays a doctor in the film. Jointly produced by GA2 Pictures and UV Creations, the film has music by Gopi Sundar.
