Journey of three young men

There are some directors who can never zero down on a name for their films. Looks like Sandalwood too has been bitten by the indecisive bug.  Originally titled Punyathmaru, this film was later renamed Mysore Pak as suggested by actor Sudeep. However, the makers of the film are finally going with the name Goa. The film is actually a remake of a Tamil film of the same title which will see some changes to suit the Kannada audience.

Starring  Tarun Chandra, Komal and Shreeki, the movie basically talks about the journey of three young men. We spoke to each actor who told us why they were excited to be part of this remake.

Currently Tarun is on a high with his film, Padhe Padhe completing 50 days. And, his reason to be part of a multi-starrer is mainly because of producer Shankare Gowda. “I have also watched Goa in Tamil and I felt it was a fantastic script and will be a good entertainer.

Though it is a remake, the script will see a lot of changes which will go well with the Kannada audience,” he added. Komal is interested to be part of a multi-starrer because he is an Aamir Khan follower. “Aamir has proved that it is the subject that matters in a movie and not how much screen space a hero gets. I would love to be in every kind of film and so, I accepted Goa,” said Komal who is currently shooting for this out and out social entertainer. “Though there are three heroes, I will make sure that I get the lion’s share,” he chuckled. Actor Shreeki has never watched the Tamil version of Goa but has still accepted this movie as he will play a unique role. “Of course it is nice to work in a multi-starrer film where the film fraternity bonds especially after having spent at least 25 days together,” signs off Shreeki.
