Six songs

With the arrival of the monsoon in all her glory, it seems to be perfect timing for the launch of Mungaru Male 2. The film has officially taken off with director Shashank starting the song recording process for the film. The director has roped in Arjun Janya to score the music. The team including producer G Gangadhar, actor Ganesh and a few others made their presence at Arjun Janya’s studio where a small pooja was conducted on Friday morning. According to the director there will be 6 songs in Mungaru Male 2. One of the reasons for Mungaru Male’s (released in 2006) success was its music composed by Mano Murthy. Hope history repeats itself.

Ravichandran to play dad to Ganesh?

Interestingly Shashank is likely to consider Ravichandran to play an important role in the film. And as per our sources, he is likely to cast the actor in the role of Ganesh’s father in Mungaru Male 2. “We have put forth the proposal and discussions are on with the actor. We will be more than happy to have him on board,” says the director. Ravichandran has previously donned the role of a father to Sudeep in Maanikya.
