December has always been a special month for C R Manohar, especially as his birthday and wedding anniversary falls then. So, when it came to launching his nephew, he knew which month would prove lucky.
To ensure that Ishan gets a big launch, he picked director Puri Jagannath for the movie Rogue.
Now the producer has its all plannned out, with a first look and teaser launch on December 12 in a five star hotel in Hyderabad. He will then follow it up with an audio launch in Bengaluru and in all likely, the film will get released by the end of this year.
“The producer has everything special going on in December. He has been equally excited in launching his nephew Ishan. Moreover, the debutant’s Rogue will also be a comeback for Puri Jagannath in Kannada after 12 years. The producer is also thrilled with the fact that he is launching a Kannada hero,” our source says.
The director debuted in Sandalwood with Shivrajkumar-starrer Yuvaraj, in 2001, and followed it up with Puneeth’s debut Appu in 2002.
Rogue will now see a trilingual release in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. Rogue shot in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bangkok features Aisha Sharma in the female lead has Thakur Anoop Singh making his debut as an antagonist.
The film has Sunil Kashyap as its music director.
