He hopes to continue this streak with his next movie with John Jani Janardhan.
Yogi, in conversation with City Express tells us about his character Jani.
He says, "I am playing a Muslim, for which I had to get rid of the moustache and grow a beard. The director ensured I get a makeover from a stylist for the role".
John Jani Janardhan, he says, mostly runs on humour, with the last fifteen minutes culminating in an emotional climax.

His performance involved several challenges especially since he has to wear an artificial assistive apparatus used by those who have polio for the role. He had it on for at least 45 days, he tells us.
"Apart from the stylish look shown in the rushes, Jani, the character has polio and needs an artificial assistive apparatus. It did get difficult for me while shooting. I suffered back pain and had to be treated, but it was all for the role," he says.
The multi-starrer made under MR Pictures has Krishna Ajai Rao playing Janaradhan and Krishna plays John's character with Kamna Ranawat in the female lead. The film has Arjun Janya's music and cinematography by Santhosh Rai Pathaje.
