Duniya Vijay-starrer Maasti Gudi directed by Nagashekhar has finalised on Amulya to play one of the heroines in the  film. Producer Sundar P Gowdru confirms the news and says, “Yes, Amulya suits the role and will be coming on board as one of the heroines.  We will be finalising the other heroine in a couple of days.” Amulya whose last release was

Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole is now waiting for Krishna Rukku that will see its release next week. The actress who waited for a good offer, chose to work in Maasti Gudi.

Amulya.jpgMeanwhile, the buzz is that the makers are keen to have heroines such as Kriti Kharbanda or Priyamani as the other heroines and, if everything goes well with the finances and dates, they will be selected. “This is a commercial film and Duniya Vijay is working really hard to explore this role. And so they want to bring in the star cast who can perform. In fact, they had initially planned to bring in newcomers. Since, they realised it is will be tough and they won’t be able to dedicate much time on training them because they plan to go on floors from February 25,  they decided to bring in established actors. And among the heroines, they chose Amulya first,” our source told us.

Apart from hero and heroine, Maasti Gudi has an interesting ensemble with Devaraj, Suhasini, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Tabla Nani, Bullet Prakash and Sharath Lohitashwa. “Almost all the top artistes of Kannada industry will be part of Maasti Gudi,” says our source.

While every character in the film is given a lot of importance, Rangayana Raghu is said to have a particularly interesting character to play, but the details of the role have not been divulged yet.
