He has silently started work from October 17 on a film that is yet to be titled. "We have started shoot at Arkalgudu in Haasan," says the director, who has roped in Shubha Poonja and will introduce new faces too. "Deepak marks his entry with this film and I have another newcomer, Amrutha Rao, who has done a film Mandya to Mumbai, which is yet to see its release," he says. Even Nagendra Prasad, who is also an actor, will essay an important role in his directorial.
"The film also sees Shobraj and a few theatre artistes - Sampath, Muni, Jaidev and Baby Vaishnavi," he says.

Nagendra Prasad started on direction with Nalla followed with Ambi and Meghave Meghave. He had even bankrolled a film Shrungara in 2014 with Ravichandran, Ragini Dwivedi and Laxmi Rai, which didn't take off for unknown reasons.
Nagendra does not want to talk about the failed project and says, "I consider this to be my comeback film. My last film was Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga that released in 2011."
The movie is on middle-class families and mostly runs on characters and their stories. "This will be a film that common man can relate to," he says. "The story, written by me, is very realistic."
Nagendra, who is also a music director, will be scoring six songs for the film and penning the lyrics for all the tracks. The makers will continue to shoot in Bengaluru and will later move to Thirthahalli and other places in and around Karnataka.
