It has been more than 6 months and Vinay Rajkumar has not signed on any project after the release of his second film Run Antony directed by Raghu Shastry. The actor, who is keen on having a commercial hit, has chosen to associate with director Pavan Wadeyar for his third project.
According to our source, Pavan is currently writing the script and simultaneouly working on pre-production work for it. And in all likelihood the film shoot might start from April 24 on
Dr Rajkumar’s birthday.
“Pavan is working on a commercial film for Vinay, and the one-liner of which has been agreed upon by the actor and his father (Raghavendra Rajkumar). Vinay, the grandson of Dr Rajkumar, started his career with Prakash Jayaram’s Siddartha. He was later trained at Anupam Kher’s acting school in Mumbai after which he took up Run Antony.
Pavan, who has proved his mettle with films like Govindaya Namaha, Googly and Rana Vikrama, plans to showcase Vinay in an all new avatar. We hear that the director is spending all his time on the script, because that is where his strength lies. Though no official announcement has been made from the director or actor’s end, our source tells us,
“The team is seriously working on the story board and will come out with more details, once the script has been finalised.”
