Sudeep is known to spot talent and encourage them. He has helped fulfill dreams of many artistes including directors, actors and technicians.

And now another young talent Gurudatha Ganiga aka Guru stands to gain.

Kichcha Productions, in association with Jack Manju’s Mysuru Talkies, will bring out a film starring Ambareesh and titled Ambi Ning Vaiyasayitho. The movie, which will also have Sudeep playing a major role, will be directed by Guru.

The actor had said in one of his interviews that they have finalised on the movie and are on the lookout for a director. And after rounds of discussions, and much thought, Sudeep decided to Guru a chance, and the latter wasted no time in grabbing the opportunity with both hands.

There is no official announcement yet from the production house, and soon details of the project, name of the director and date on which the project will go on floors will be revealed by Sudeep himself.

According to our source, “Guru’s passion for filmmaking and his journey so far has been interesting, and these caught Sudeep’s attention. The first-time director  has been working in the industry as associate director for a few years now, and now he gets to direct two legends. He will make every effort to show his gratitude towards his mentor, through his work.”

The film, inspired by Tamil hit Power Pandi, is shaping up well with well-known artistes coming on board. The project is likely to go on floors this month end onwards and that should make it all the more challenging for this young director. Watch this space for more details.
