Get ready for a nostalgic ride with Danish Sait, Sruthi Hariharan and Vijay Chendoor as the team of Humble Politician Nograj is to come out with a promotional song, specially dedicated to Kannada Rajyotsava.
Planned as a November 1 release, this particular track will be a collection of 15 popular songs of 15 seconds each and totalling three-and-a-half minutes. They will do a collage of the best Kannada songs starring legendary actors such as Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Shankarnag, Anant Nag and Ambareesh among others, for which they are also considering film songs of the present generation of actors.
City Express got hold of a few photographs from the sets of the promo song, and the actors Danish, Sruthi and Vijay can be seen dressed like characters played by these various actors. Danish says, “There is no better way to celebrate the occasion, since cinema has been the bread and butter of the system and we wanted to pay tribute to those who have worked hard to set this space up. Since, I am part of this film, I would rather have something to do with people who are closest to my heart. We are putting our best efforts in to make this promotional video, which the audience will like and get nostalgic about,” says Danish.
Prem Pawar, who has mostly worked with corporates, has choreographed this promotional video for Humble Politician... “A lot of work is going into this promotional song, with characters wearing costumes similar to what was worn in the original, and it will all be done in good humour,” he says.
Danish will follow it up with another song, for Humble Politician Nograj, the details of which, he says, will be revealed once they are on the sets.The political satire written and directed by Saad Khan along with Danish Sait is jointly being produced by Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah, Hemanth M Rao and Rakshit Shetty. Humble... also marks the movie debut of stand up comedian Sumukhi Suresh and Roger Narayan among others in the cast.The film has music by Jeet Singh, with a team of people pitching in, and cinematography by Karm Chawla.
