BENGALURU: A group of youngsters sacrificed a buffalo before the poster of Shivarajkumar and Sudeep starrer Kannada film ‘Villian’ in order to ensure its success.
The video, which shows the youth beheading a buffalo, went viral on Saturday. Police are now trying to verify where the incident took place. It is believed that the incident took place in North Karnataka.
The group converses in Kannada during the video and one person can be heard instructing the others to ‘offer the buffalo’s blood to the (film) poster’.
Two men, including the man who carries out the decapitation, pose for the video. Police have managed to get a registration number of the vehicle which can be seen in the video and based on this they are trying to track the men.
