Paavada: A Fun-Filled Ride for All

Prithviraj who is on a winning streak with number of hits in a row, teams up with Biju Menon for a full length combination in the upcoming flick ‘Paavada’ produced by Maniyanpilla Raju. The family entertainer film revolves around the life of Joy, a jack-of-all-trades and his chance meeting with Babu Joseph, who took voluntary retirement from teaching in a college. Actor Sobhana, who made a powerful comeback in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ‘Thira ‘will also be playing a prominent character in the movie.

The film is directed by G Marthandan and script is penned by Bipin Chandran. This will be the second film of the director after the super hit ‘Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus’.

For actor-producer Maniyanpilla Raju, ‘Paavada’ is his tenth production venture. He has earlier produced some of the hit films including ‘Vellanakalude Nadu’, ‘Aey Auto’ ‘Chotta Mumbai’ and ‘Kannezhuthiu pottum Thottu’ and ‘Ananthabhadram’. ‘Paavada’ is based on a story by Bipin Chandran and Shibin Francis. This will be the sixth script of Bipin after ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Best Actor’ for Mammootty and the recent nostalgic hit ‘1983’.

Anoop Menon and Nedumudi Venu along with Maniyanpilla Raju will appear in prominent roles. Female lead has not been fixed yet.

The film will go on floors at Thoduppuzha from July.
