It’s happy days ahead for Milana Nagaraj, who is thrilled that her long-pending films will finally be released this year. The actress’ last film was Charlie, out in 2015.
The first she is looking forward to is her Malayalam debut Avarude Raavukal, to be in theatres on June 23 followed with two Kannada films — Johhny and Fly. “All my films were supposed to be released last year but because of demonetisation and other hiccups, they were delayed... now all will be out this year,” says Milana, who is particularly happy that Fly has been revived. “We completed dubbing and patchwork last week and one pending song will be shot on May 25 and 26. It should be out in August or September,” she says.
Meanwhile, the actress is excited about her Malayalam debut especially after the response she has been receiving for the song, released recently. What does Milana have to say about her experience in Mollywood? “It is extremely good and whatever we have heard about the work culture in Malayalam industry, I witnessed it during the shoot. They are very hard working and we can see it in the quality of the movies,” says Milana, who has been getting offers meanwhile and is waiting for her other movies to released before accepting any good role. “The industry has led me to rethink the projects I would sign up for,” she says. But Milana is equally full of praise for Sandalwood. “This is my home and where I started my career,” she says.
