Actor Ajith is said to have more than a few visible scars, for he has faced the knife several times after meeting with accidents on the race track. Ajith himself has admitted recently that it’s quite a miracle for a person like him to even be able to stand properly. But fate seems to have had its play again in the actor’s life, as he has met with another accident while shooting for his upcoming untitled film in Mumbai recently.
Sources say Ajith hurt his right knee when he was trying to jump from one speeding to car to another while shooting for a stunt sequence last Saturday. “Ajith had to stand on the bonnet of car with a gun in one hand. So when he performed the sequence, he lost balance and hit his knee while landing on the other car,” says the source. Director Vishnuvardhan and the cinematographer, who were present when this unfortunate incident happened and seem to have taken him to a hospital later.
The doctors have apparently told him that a ligament in his right knee has been torn and has advised him to undergo surgery. “But Ajith refused and has been continuing to shoot till now. He might decide about the surgery only when he returns to Chennai after wrapping the current schedule,” says the source, adding, “Ajith was operated for the same right ligament tear a few years ago.”
Apart from Ajith, actors Arya, Rana Daggubati, Nayanthara and Taapsee play other important roles in the film.
