After actor Ajith who hurt his right leg while shooting for a stunt sequence in Mumbai recently, it’s now comedy actor Vivek’s turn to hurt his right knee while shooting for a comic sequence for Pathayiram Kodi.
Produced by Muktha Srinivasan’s Maya Creations, the film is based on Niira Radia’s role in the 2G spectrum scam, and Vivek essays the role of a CBI officer. How the actor tries to woo the rich lady whose Rs 10,000-crore worth gold is stolen by a group of students, forms the crux of the film.
The shooting was in progress near Poonamallee, when Vivek was hurt while trying to jump across a person in a comedy sequence.
The actor was then taken to a nearby private hospital immediately. He is now recovering from the injury and has been advised bed rest.
He will resume shooting once he is back on his knees. The film is on the verge of completion.
