Even before devouring the success of Thuppakki completely, actor Vijay has gone ahead with his next untitled flick with director Vijay.

Even before devouring the success of Thuppakki completely, actor Vijay has gone ahead with his next untitled flick with director Vijay.

Following the unexpected developments for Thuppakki, the puja of the new film was held recently in hush-hush manner and was attended by Ilayathalapathy with his wife Sangeetha and father S A Chandrasekar, director Vijay, actor Amala Paul who plays the female lead in the film, along with her parents, editor Antony, music director G V Prakash and lyricist Na Muthukumar. Director S J Suryah was also present at the launch. The shooting of the film is expected to go on floors from November 23.

Vijay is directing this film after the controversy-ridden Thaandavam and is collaborating with the actor for the first time. Cinematographer Nirav Shah has been roped in for the flick and Misri Productions is producing the film.
