Less is more: Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal has as many as five releases this year and is working round the clock on Telugu and Tamil projects.

After making inroads into Bollywood with Singham and Special 26, Kajal Aggarwal is currently on a signing spree down South. She has as many as five releases this year and is working round the clock on Telugu and Tamil projects, apart from endorsing a handful of products (the latest being Bru coffee). Be it hotting up the screen in a bikini or her scorching magazine covers, Aggarwal knows how to up her glamour quotient. Fitness, she says, is a necessity and her trainer, Bharath, at Gold’s Gym keeps her motivated. More from her:

Fitness basics

When I am shooting outdoors, I always carry a yoga mat and practise yoga five times a week. Otherwise, in Mumbai and Hyderabad, I train at the Gold’s Gym where I do a combination of cardio and weight training. I also like to experiment with zumba, pilates and spinning.

Diet

I try to eat as healthy as possible and include carbs, proteins, vitamins and good fats in my daily menu. I drink lots of water and love everything fresh, so you can see a lot of colourful salads, fruits and vegetables in my diet. On the sets, I carry home-cooked food.

Eating out

I love Japanese and Thai as I think they have a good mix of proteins, vegetables, sea weed and seafood. Sushi features high on my list.

Skin deep

I use a good sunscreen and avoid make-up when I am not shooting to allow my skin to breathe. My only skincare essentials are a moisturiser and lip balm. ‘Less is more’ is my motto.
