S P Charan’s next production is all set to feature his father S P Balasubramaniam in it. Moone Moonu Varthai, which is bring produced by Charan’s Capital Film Works and directed by Madhumita, will see the veteran playback singer act opposite another veteran in the film industry – Lakshmi.

The film is a romantic comedy, featuring newcomer Arjun Chidambaram in the lead. Venkatesh Harinathan of Sutta Kadhai and Irandam Ulagam fame, plays the other lead in the film, while Aditi Chengappa plays the heroine.

The title of the film – Moone Moonu Varthai – is about a specific set of words. The title creates a sense of curiosity as to what those three words are and what context it has been used.

Apart from the lead actor, the film is also launching several other technicians. Karthikeya Murthy, the music director, Mani Karthik, the art director and Kiran Ganti, the editor, will be making their debut with this film. Rajiv Rajaramwho , wrote the dialogues for Aaha Kalyanam, has penned the dialogues for this film too, along with Jumbo. The film, which went on floors on Monday, is scheduled to release in June 2014.
