Thiri

Sea shore gold Productions’ AK Balamurugan’s and R Balagopi’s upcoming film Thiri, directed by debutant director Ashok Amirtharaj, is about how it is always important to break one’s patience at the right point and right place.

“Thiri is a realistic commercial entertainer starring Ashwin Kakamanu, Swathi Reddy, Jayaprakash, Karunakaran and AL Azhagappan in the lead. Thiri symbolises influence. It could be of either  positive or negative, but influence is influence. The film dwells on the universal fact about how parents ultimately influence the path of the ward’s life. Proverbs such as ‘Like father like son’  inspired me to bring out the plot. I had detailed the human emotion on this aspect,” says Ashok. “Ashwin Kakamanu palys a role which is very different from his early films,” adds the director. Sathuranga Vettai fame cinematographer KG Venkatesh is handling  the camera work and SS Thaman is composing the music which will have Vairamuthu’s lyrics.
