Apart from the lead, Santhanam,  VTV Ganesh and Ashutosh Rana play important characters in the film.

The date of the much-awaited elections of the Nadigar Sangam has finally been announced. They  are to be held on October 18 at St Ebba’s school in Mylapore.

Says a source in the industry, “The polling will begin at 7 am and go on until five that evening. A large turnout is expected this time, as several actors and actresses are expected to take time off their schedules to vote.”

The contest will be primarily between two teams, one led by actors Sarath Kumar and Radharavi, and the other led by actors Vishal and Naassar. Interestingly, the team led by Vishal has called itself that Pandavar Ani. For long, there had been speculation on when the elections to the South Indian Artistes Association would be held. Sources had indicated that the two dates that were initially being considered were September 27 and October 4. However, it has now been officially announced that the elections would be held on October 18. It may be recalled that the Madras High Court has named former High Court Judge, E Padmanabhan, to preside over the Nadigar Sangam elections.
