Jayam Ravi's Thani Oruvan to have a sequel

Jayam Ravi, who’s busy shooting for Bogan, can’t thank his fans enough. As his film Thani Oruvan completed one year of its release recently, the Dhaam Dhoom actor hopes to make the sequel to last year’s blockbuster hit, which won over both audiences and critics alike.

He says, “Mohan and I are likely to do a sequel to Thani Oruvan (2015), but not immediately. Both of us are occupied with our own film-related commitments. We thought my 25th film should be something special, and we stumbled upon this idea. Every time the movie is telecast on TV, my Twitter feed would be abuzz with congratulatory messages. I feel humbled.”

Meanwhile, the venture is being remade in Telugu as Dhruva with Ram Charan in the lead. Also, the same will be remade in Bengali with Prosenjit Chatterjee and Jeet, in pivotal roles.
