Amy Jackson yet to sign queen remake
We had reported that Tamannaah will play the lead in the Tamil version of the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Queen (2014). Now, the latest we hear is that, Amy Jackson has been approached to reprise Lisa Haydon’s role in the film. While a few sections of media had mentioned that she’s already a part of the film, we learn that she’s yet to sign the dotted line.
Interestingly, there’s also a buzz that Amy will don the role of Rani’s friend in Paris, in all four South Indian languages. Revathy is directing the Tamil remake, and the film will have dialogues by Suhasini Mani Ratnam.
A few online reports suggest that the film will be shot in four languages starring four different actresses in the lead role, directed by four filmmakers.
While Amala Paul is likely to star in the Malayalam version, and Parul Yadav is being considered for the Kannada version. The Telugu version is directed by Anish Kuruvilla, and Prakash Raj will helm the Kannada one. It’s not clear if Revathy will direct the Malayalam version too or not.
