CHENNAI: The first look of Kuttram 23, starring Arun Vijay, has got a huge positive response from fans. The medical-thriller  directed by Arivazhagan is touted to be packed with action sequences, and has Mahima Nambiar of Saattai (2012) fame playing the female lead. The film is being produced by Inder Kumar of Redhan The Cinema People in association with Aarathi Arun of In Cinemas Entertainment.

Arun Vijay plays as a cop in Kuttram 23, which is in its final stage of shooting. “We are now shooting the climax sequence in Chennai and its outskirts. We shot chase sequences throughout the night and plan to continue shooting for the next six days at Padur in the city. To shoot the climax in a more realistic way, we erected a special set for a huge cost,” said Director Arivazhagan.

Arun Vijay received praise for the stunts he performed in Thadayara Thakka (2012), in which the reel life villain Vamsi was highly appreciated for his negative role. And guess what, the baddie Vamsi will join Arun Vijay once again in Kuttram 23.
