Samuthirakani

S Samuthirakani, whose last outing was Appa, has finalised his next, titled Aan Devathai, which will have  Ramya Pandian of Joker (2016) fame as the leading lady. Former associate of K Balachander, Thamira, who directed Rettai Suzhi will helm this flick.  Ramya wrote on Twitter, “My next movie Aan Devathai directed by Thamira sir. Happy to share screen space with Samuthirakani (sic).”

Sources say that Ramya plays Kani’s wife and this one will also convey an important message to the society like her previous film Joker did. We hear the story of Aan Devathai revolves around the impact of globalisation, marital relationships and the challenges of raising a kid in the modern times.

Sources add, “The makers are planning to start shooting by the end of this month and script traces the travel of characters who learn to appreciate life in all its glory.” While Kavin and Kasturi will be playing pivotal roles, Ghibran has been roped in to compose music and Vijay Milton will be handling the camera.
