Rajinikanth praised the trailer of Shanthnu’s upcoming film Mupparimanam and the actor cannot contain his excitement. He tells City Express that he was moved by the Superstar’s genuine appreciation. “Everybody in the crew was tense as he was watching the trailer. We saw his eyebrows rise at the end. With so much enthusiasm and energy, he said ‘once more’.

That itself was a huge success for our team,” he says.
The Vaaimai (2016) actor also recalls an incident that happened during Kuselan’s shooting. “I met Rajini sir at the Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where he was shooting for Kuselan (2008). He asked if I was into fitness, gymming etc. At that time, I didn’t take his words seriously. But after seeing me now, he told me I look fit and good.”
Directed by Athiroopan, former assistant to Bala, Mupparimanam has Srushti Dange as the female lead.
GV Prakash is the music director.
