We had already reported that Gautham Menon is reviving his ambitious spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram, which was originally planned with Suriya. In fact, there was also a rumour about Jayam Ravi doing the role. Touted to be made on an international scale, we hear, it is going to be on the lines of the Jason Bourne series.
With the shoot likely to begin in Coonoor soon, it’s being said that schedules in Europe and the US have also been finalised. It’s unknown if Nayanthara or Aditi Rao Hydari (of Kaatru Veliyidai fame) will be playing the female lead. Dan MacArthur, who cranked the camera for Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016), is likely to be the cinematographer for this one too.
