Pradeep Krishnamoorthy who rose to fame with Saithan, is currently working on Sathya, starring Sibiraj in the lead. He says that this film will be a turning point in the actor’s career, just as its namesake was for Kamal Haasan back in the day.
Speaking about Sathya, he says that it is a crime thriller. “We have made the film keeping in mind all sections of the audience. Though this is an official remake of the Telugu film, Kshanam, we have tweaked the script according to the sensibilities of the Tamil audience,” he adds.
The director further says, “We wanted Sibiraj to sport a different look for this film, and hence, he grew a thick beard for the role.”
Pradeep also reveals that Sibi refused to do a lip-lock scene in the film. “He felt that his son would see the film and he would rather avoid the embarrassment of having his seen watch the scene.”
