After Meyaadha Maan produced under his Stone Bench banner, received rave reviews, sources reveal that filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj could next be producing a film with SJ Suryah in the lead.

He has earlier directed the actor in his film, Iraivi. Talking to CE, the Jigarthanda filmmaker says, “The film is still in the scripting stage and we will confirm it soon.” It’s also being speculated that SJ Suryah himself might direct the film.

Karthik Subbaraj is currently busy with his directorial, Mercury, which he is also producing. “The film’s shoot has been wrapped up and the post-production work is in progress.

It’ll be a silent film,” he adds. The film stars Prabhudheva, Sananth of Jil Jung Juk fame and Indhuja, who made a stellar debut with Meyaadha Maan.
