The filming of Prabhudheva’s Charlie Chaplin 2 with director Shakti Chidambaram has commenced in Goa.
Sources say that the story revolves around the families of the lead characters played by Prabhudheva and Nikki Galrani, who are travelling from Chennai to Tirupati for a wedding.
The makers of Charlie Chaplin 2 have roped in Adah Sharma, familiar to Tamil audiences for her appearance in Simbu’s Idhu Namma Aalu, to play a pivotal character.
This sequel to the hit 2002 film is produced by Amma Creations T Siva, with Soundararajan behind the camera and Amrish in charge of the music. The film is expected to hit the screens by mid-2018.
