Responding to his critics about being indifferent towards the success of Baahubali, superstar Mahesh Babu finally broke his silence and praised SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus.
Maverick filmmaker RGV had launched a tirade on twitter on the likes of Mahesh, Pawan and Ntr Jr, and accused them of being jealous of Baahubali.
However, Mahesh, who’s awaiting the release of Srimanthudu, took to twitter to express his happiness over Baahubali’s phenomenal success.
“Just got back from Switzerland and caught the phenomenon ‘Baahubali’. Goosebumps. Never did I imagine that a Telugu film would smash all BO records in our country and across the globe (sic),” Mahesh posted. The actor did not stop at that, he also praised the actors and director Rajamouli specifically, saying he is proud that the filmmaker belongs to Tollywood.
“Prabhas and Rana were terrific .Their hard work and dedication has paid off .”
He also made a special mention of MM Keeravani’s music that has been lauded by critics. “Proud of keeravani garu’s unimaginable and unbelievable back ground score.” Directed by Koratala Siva, Srimanthudu is set to release on August 7. Meanwhile, he was shooting in Switzerland for Brahmotsavam.
