After a relatively quiet period, Tollywood is preparing for its busiest time of the year, with several huge releases lined up next month. It’s going to be blockbuster July for fans as some of the biggest stars across Indian cinema will be in action in some of the most big-budget films in recent times.

Just a week after the release of the much-awaited magnum opus Baahubali on July 10, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu will hit screens on July 17.

Confirming the news, director Koratala Siva said, “We zeroed in on July 17 as release date long back. There won’t be any changes. We have one have week of patchwork left, and once we’re done, we will unveil the audio towards the end of this month.”

Considering Srimanthudu is heading towards release on Eid, the Mahesh Babu-starrer will face stiff competition from bigwigs from across Indian cinema as Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan directed by Kabir Khan and Dhanush’s Maarri directed by Balaji Mohan have also been confirmed to release on July 17.  This means superstars from three industries – Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu and Dhanush are all set it to battle it out at the box office when their films Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Srimanthudu and Maari release on July 17.
