The highly anticipated Telugu period drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, starring Chiranjeevi in the titular role and a star-studded supporting cast, began rolling on Wednesday.

The news was officially announced by the makers on Twitter, with a tweet that read: “The moment has arrived. Here we begin Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.”

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, directed by Surender Reddy, is Chiru’s 151st film and features many superstars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu and Kichcha Sudeep playing important supporting roles.

The film, based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, is produced by actor Ram Charan under the Konidela Production Company banner.
