With his directorial debut Bhale Manchi Roju, Sriram Adittya proved he’s a filmmaker with a lot of talent. The youngster is ready with his second film, Samantha Kamani, a crime-comedy featuring Sundeep Kishan, Aadi, Sudheer Babu and Nara Rohith. In an exclusive chat with Hyderabad Express, he said, “It’s going to be a quirky film with very interesting characters. All the four lead actors will be seen in a never seen before avatars.

The story is going to be very fresh and will be relatable to even common man. It’s based on a very unique real life incident but it’s too early to divulge more information.”

The regular shooting will commence from March, and the film will be completely shot in Hyderabad. Talking about his lead cast, which also includes veteran actor Rajendra Prasad in a pivotal role, he said “This is probably the first time four leading actors have come together for a project in Telugu cinema.

Each one of them loved the story and they have equal screen space. There’s something unique about each character and that’s what got them excited.”

Talking about the rest of the cast, Sriram said that they will be finalised in a week. “We have some interesting options but we can only announce once they’re officially signed. Technically, too, the film will be very rich, and we’re assembling the right team to ensure the output lives up to the expectations set by my first film.”
