GOA: Well-known southern actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who have been in a relationship for nearly two years, tied the nuptial knot on October 6 here at a ceremony amidst their families and close friends. The destination wedding happened at Hotel W. Select guests were invited for the special occasion.

On October 7, they got married according to Christian ceremony. The couple also held a mehendi ceremony ahead of the Hindu wedding on October 5.

On Sunday, the couple will throw a lavish reception for friends from the industry in Hyderabad.

There are rumours that the couple might go to the Bahamas for their honeymoon in December, owing to their work commitments. Naga Chaitanya will begin shooting for his new Telugu film Savyasachi, to be directed by Chandoo Mondeti, from October third week. Samantha awaits the release of Vijay-starrer 'Mersal', which will hit screens this Diwali. Her Telugu horror-comedy Raju Gari Gadhi 2, which sees her sharing screen space with father-in-law Nagarjuna, is also due for release.
