Simran to star in Sapthagiri’s next

Simran fans, rejoice! The actress, popular for her roles in films like Samarasimha Reddy, Kalisundam Raa, Narasimha Naidu and Daddy, is planning to return to Tollywood after a decade.

She has been approached by director Eashwar Reddy of Siddu From Sikakulam fame for a pivotal role in his new movie featuring comedian-turned-hero Sapthagiri in the lead.

"Simran has been offered Sapthagiri's mother-in-law's role which is crucial for the story to take its own course. After holding a lot of discussions and sorting out other issues, she is pleased to work in the film and gave her nod. But, she hasn't signed on the dotted line yet and the formalities will be completed in three-four days,” reveals a source.

To be produced by a renowned distributor from Andhra Pradesh, the film has story provided by Vikram Raj and dialogues penned by Diamond Ratnababu. The leading lady and other cast are yet to be finalised for the film which is likely to go on floors shortly.
