Samantha, Kajal Agarwal to take part in social media summit on November 10

The programme will have over 350 social media influencers, around 1,000 delegates and nearly 40 renowned and popular speakers.

VIJAYAWADA: Krishna District Collector B Lakshmikantham announced on Tuesday that music director Devi Sri Prasad, actors Samantha, Kajal Agarwal and Vijay Devarakonda will attend the second edition of Social Media Summit and Awards programme to be held on November 9 and 10. 

Addressing the media, he said the event awards the leaders who have carved out a place for themselves on social media through innovation that could bring changes to governance, business and information-dissemination. 

The programme will have over 350 social media influencers, around 1,000 delegates and nearly 40 renowned and popular speakers. It is expected to garner over a 100 million views on social media, he added.

It is on November 10 that celebrities Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda, Kajal Agarwal, Sudhir Babu, Vedhika, and Sushant have been invited. On November 9, Head of Media Partnerships at Facebook Ankur Mehra, Business World Magazine chairperson Anurag Batra, actor and politician Khushboo, former cricketer Anil Kumble, and co-founder of Milaap Anoj Vishwanathan will address the gathering. 
At the conference, District Collector B Lashmikantham and Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation CEO Himanshu Shukla have also jointly announced that they would meet the committee of ministers formed by the State government on Tuesday to make arrangements for the upcoming F1H2O boat racing. 

In the administrative sanction issued to the Tourism Development Authority, the ministers included in the committee are Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Home as chairperson, Minister for Irrigation, Minister for Sports and Youth Services, Minister for Education, Minister for Tourism and Culture and Secretary to Government for Tourism as member convenor.  They announced the players who will visit Vijayawada will be paraded across the city.
