The demand which was suggested by opposing BJP MLA Rajiv Jasrotia angered the opposition who stormed into the well with slogans, and disturbed furniture. | PTI
The house was adjourned for 15 minutes following the outburst. Members of Jammu and Kashmir People Democratic Party (PDP) staged a walkout. | PTI
After the house reassembled, members of opposition stormed the well again demanding the CM’s statement or the government’s resignation, and forced proceedings to a stop. | PTI
The outburst followed Mehbooba Mufti’s remarks while speaking on home department grants, saying people vying to scrap article 370 of the constitution were “anti-national” and “were harming India and its interests.”
