KAKA: We have grown so accustomed to the Ballon d’Or being a two horse race that we haven given up the consideration that somebody else could win it. Kaka was the last player to claim the prize apart from Messi and Ronaldo. the Brazilian playmaker arrived at Bernabeu the same year Ronaldo did, for a record sum of 58.50 million pounds and spend some quality time on the field with him before losing his charm and returning to AC Milan in 2013-14 season. Kaka has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo as an 'amazing professional'- paying testament to Ronaldo's mental strength and physical fitness with the 33-year-old continuing to make records tumble. XABI ALONSO: Ronaldo and Alonso both joined Real in the summer of 2009, having previously played on opposing sides in the Premier League for Manchester United and Liverpool respectively. Cristiano once said: 'Xavi is irreplaceable. There is no one else like him'. Xabi Alonso spent five successful years with Ronaldo before leaving for Bayern Munich. The Spaniard has rated Ronaldo a complete player, someone that teams like Bayern would like to have in their squad. (Photo | AFP)
