Seer and the seen

Anger exhibits itself in us because of frustrations, which is about 75 per cent, 10 per cent because of our unfulfilled obligations, another 10 per cent because of a hyperactive mind and lastly 5 per cent because of certain negative karma.

All of these have a cumulative effect on our own vibrations. It harnesses us to negativity and affects our dynamism. This is the reason why we always feel angry and are consistently bombarded with negative and crude thinking.

First of all we have to eliminate our crude thinking patterns. Just like a plant withers away or does not grow properly without sunlight, likewise the mind does not grow without astuteness. We have to be astute enough in divine matters and it is very essential to follow the teachings of a guru, especially more so in methods of dedicated spirituality (upasana).

When you start doing upasana, you will start feeling benign and divine, and you will get the wisdom to allow yourself to flow into higher levels. This makes your mind push itself into a higher plane of spiritual thinking. It is advisable to follow any one of the sages of the Upanishadic tradition and contemplate on the teachings of this seer.

As your mind is getting involved and evolved, you automatically start seeking the ‘truth’ through his vibrations. A seer pushes you to seek into his frequency of vibrations.

Remember, spiritual weakness inevitably makes you weak in your mind, body and intellect. Seek the ultimate truth from the abstract wisdom to the truth intact within.

This is like a platter of fruits neatly served with its juice intact. Likewise the hidden truth behind the
Upanishadic statement of the seer is ready for you to assimilate and release the elixir of bliss from within you.

If you look at the Upanishads—for instance, the enlightening Upanishadic statement Tat Tvam Asi (thou art that)—and try to assimilate it in the above manner, you will start comprehending this truth much more than before.

You will understand it, assimilate it and realise it very well as your inner crude mind starts dissolving like the mist dissolving under the warm Sun.

That means we are shifting from the take-off level to the cruising level i.e. from an ordinary mind to a cosmic mind.

You start looking on a different level altogether wherein at a higher level even a tree looks like a blade of grass and at the grass-roots level even a blade of grass looks quite tall as a tree itself.

This paradigm shift makes your mind to focus and see with clarity the different subtle angles of the hidden truth.

You the ‘seer’ become the ‘seen’ of the absolute truth because you have automatically triggered the faculty of intuition of your cosmic mind.

Now these negative qualities called as anger, frustration, fury are automatically vanquished. The need inwardly to impress the common man, to express your anger, fury and frustration does not arise at all.
