Twelve ULFA, RVA militants surrender

Twelve militants of ULFA and Rabha Viper Army laid down arms at an official surrender event here today.

Official sources said while three militants belonged to ULFA, the rest to RVA.

The militants surrendered seven pistols, five rifles, one IED besides other ammunitions at the function attended by deputy commissioner and superintendant of police of the Goalpara district and senior army officials, the sources said.
