No Shortage of Rabies Vaccine in UP: Govt

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh government today claimed there is no shortage of Rabies vaccine in the state and said that over 400 persons are administered the vaccine per day in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency Varanasi.      

Replying to a question of BJP member Shyamdeo Roy Chowdhury, Minister of state for Health Shankhlal Manjhi said that there was no shortage of Rabies vaccine in the state and in Varanasi alone over 400 persons are administered Rabies vaccine per day.

The Minister said the vaccine is available free of cost in government hospitals.
