NC, BJP Stage Anti-Israeli Protests

The Youth National Conference (YNC) took out a protest rally here against deaths of over 200 Palestinians in Israeli bombings in Gaza.

SRINAGAR:  The ruling National Conference (NC) in Jammu and Kashmir and the Opposition BJP staged anti-Israeli protests here on Wednesday, while UN observers based here refused to accept a memorandum presented by the youth wing of the ruling party.

The Youth National Conference (YNC) took out a protest rally here against deaths of over 200 Palestinians in Israeli bombings in Gaza.  Carrying placards and black flags, the YNC activists led by NC Youth wing president Salman Sagar marched towards the UN office at Sonawar here from party headquarters.  Mustafa Kamal, uncle of CM  Omar Abdullah, also participated in the rally.  “By killing innocent Palestinians in the holy month of Ramadan, Israel has scorched the hearts of people across the world, especially Muslims,” he said.
