The Ghaziabad police Sunday claimed to have solved the kidnapping of a factory employee's child following recovery of the body and arrest of the kidnappers.
Circle Officer (Sadar) Rajesh Pandey said Rudhransh, the four-year-old son of Devendra Sharma, was kidnapped last Friday while he was playing outside his house in Kanauja locality of Ghaziabad.
Kidnappers Leelu and Shahzad demanded Rs.15 lakh for his release but they killed the child Saturday after the deal failed to materialise.
The police, with the help of surveillance Saturday night, nabbed the duo from their hideout and recovered the body.
